CO-FOUNDER OF PSYNC
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to the quiet, often unspoken spaces that exist within people; the thoughts we carry, the emotions we struggle to name, the patterns we repeat without realizing, and the parts of ourselves we long to understand. It’s this curiosity and compassion for the human experience that led me to the field of mental health.
At the core of my work is a deep belief in the power of self-awareness, that the journey inward is one of the most important ones we can take.
I truly believe that each of us knows ourselves better than anyone else and that every individual already carries the answers within them. But sometimes, life experiences, societal pressures, and emotional wounds make it difficult to access that inner knowing. That’s where therapy comes in; not to give you answers, but to create the space and support to help you rediscover them. My role is not to direct your path, but to walk alongside you, gently guiding you to connect with yourself more deeply with curiosity, empathy and care. I want to help you find clarity where there’s confusion, compassion where there’s self-judgment, and courage where there’s fear. I’m here to support you in healing, growing, and evolving on your own terms and at your own pace.
My therapeutic philosophy is grounded in respect, empathy, ethical practice, and professionalism. I believe that every individual is unique, and that mental health care should reflect that. There is no single approach that works for everyone so I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all model. Instead, I tailor each session and strategy to your unique story and goals based on your needs. I draw from a range of evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Practices, Client-Centered Therapy, Behavioural Therapy, Psychodynamic Approaches and Couples Counselling among others.
This integrative approach allows us to explore not only the immediate challenges you’re facing, but also the deeper patterns, beliefs, and experiences that shape how you feel and move through the world.
This is more than just a mental health service. It’s a space built on trust, safety, and authenticity. A space where you don’t have to perform or pretend. Where your story and individuality matters, and where your pain is met with compassion not judgment. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, relationship struggles, identity questions, burnout, or just trying to understand yourself better, I’m here to support you.
I believe that therapy is not just about “feeling better”, it’s about knowing yourself, deeply and honestly. It’s about asking the hard questions, facing the truths we often avoid, and making empowered choices that align with who you are and who you want to be. Together, we’ll work to uncover the deeper layers of your experiences, not to label or pathologize, but to understand, accept, and grow.
The human experience is incredibly nuanced. Emotions don’t always follow logic. Healing doesn’t always follow a timeline. And yet, within that complexity lies the possibility of transformation. You already carry that potential within you, I’m simply here to help you connect with it.
Thank you for considering this space as part of your mental health journey. It’s an honour to walk alongside you.
CO-FOUNDER OF PSYNC
I believe that, within each of us, there is a capacity to heal, to grow, and to create a life that feels more whole and meaningful. Our past shapes us, but it does not have to define us. We can learn from where we have been, become more present to where we are, and gradually shape where we want to go. Life is rarely simple, and neither are our emotions. Fear, sadness, anger, shame, uncertainty, joy, hope, and even contradiction can all exist within us at the same time.
Sometimes, the ways we think, behave, or cope are not signs that something is wrong with us—they are ways we have learned to navigate what life has asked of us. But when these patterns begin to hold us back, therapy can offer a space to pause, understand ourselves more deeply, and discover new ways of responding. My journey as a psychologist began in New York City, where I worked with nonprofit organisations providing individual and family counselling to trauma survivors. I had the privilege of sitting with people navigating incredibly complex realities—domestic violence, systemic injustice, housing instability, legal battles, and deep emotional wounds. Their experiences taught me something I continue to carry into my work today: healing does not simply mean learning to cope with pain. It can also mean reclaiming your voice, your identity, your choices, and your sense of agency.
After returning to India, I expanded my practice through working alongside qualified psychiatrists and supporting individuals from rural parts of the country. These experiences brought me face-to-face with the many barriers that can stand between a person and the support they need—limited access to care, stigma, social and cultural expectations, and the absence of clear and ethical systems of support. They deepened my conviction that mental healthcare should be accessible, compassionate, and grounded in dignity.
Today, I work with children, adolescents, young adults, and families, with nearly six years of experience in the mental health field. What continues to guide me is a simple belief: mental health is not a luxury. It is an essential part of being human, and everyone deserves the opportunity to seek support without shame or judgment.
My approach to therapy begins with the understanding that there is no single way to heal. Every person brings their own history, relationships, experiences, strengths, and ways of making sense of the world. I therefore take a client-centred and eclectic approach, drawing from different therapeutic frameworks depending on what feels most meaningful and helpful for the individual in front of me.
I am particularly interested in the relationship between our thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. Together, we can begin to notice the patterns that shape how we experience ourselves and the world around us—not to judge or erase them, but to understand where they come from and whether they are still serving us. Therapy can create the space to develop greater self-awareness, build healthier ways of coping, and make choices that feel more aligned with who you are and who you want to become.
At the heart of my work is the therapeutic relationship itself. I strive to create a space where you can be honest without fear of judgment, where difficult emotions have room to exist, and where you feel heard rather than defined by a diagnosis, a difficult chapter, or a particular struggle. I believe empathy, trust, and genuine human connection are not just important parts of therapy—they are often where healing begins.
My own practice of yoga and meditation has also shaped the way I understand wellbeing. Mindfulness has taught me the value of slowing down, noticing what is happening within us, and meeting ourselves with greater compassion. Where appropriate, I incorporate mindfulness-based practices and tools into my work to help clients develop a deeper connection with themselves.
If you choose to begin this journey with us, I want you to know that you do not have to have everything figured out before you walk through the door. You do not have to know exactly what is wrong, or even know what you need.
We can begin wherever you are.
I will meet you there—with respect, curiosity, empathy, and care. My role is not to tell you who you should become, but to walk alongside you as you better understand who you are, reconnect with your strengths, and discover the choices available to you.
You have a voice in your story. You have agency in your life. And while you may not be able to change everything that has happened to you, you can begin to shape what comes next.
It would be an honour to walk alongside you on that path.
